Geoff Dresser is an Assistant Professor of Worship Arts at Briercrest College and Seminary in Caronport, Saskatchewan and is also on staff as the Worship Pastor at Victory Church in Moose Jaw.

Geoff is excited to launch his debut novel, Mountaintop which was selected as a Finalist in the Best New Canadian Manuscript category in The Word Guild Awards. His writing stems from nearly 15 years of experience as a church musician, both as a layperson and as a pastor. Mountaintop is a story about a young idealistic worship pastor trying to learn what it means to be faithful in the midst of the chaos we call church.

After graduating from the University of Waterloo in Electrical Engineering in 1994, Geoff moved to Ottawa where he was a software developer by day and worship leader by night (and on weekends!) In 2005, Geoff moved out of his engineering career into full time ministry. Three years later, Geoff released his debut recording Jesus Only which includes the Covenant award-nominated song “Remember Me.” He is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Worship Studies at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies where he also received a Master of Worship Studies degree.

Geoff and his wife Pearl have three sons: Pierce, Gideon and Preston.
